The past few weeks have been full of kids getting up, kids being sick, kids hopping into our bed, me hopping into one of their beds.... it's exhausting all these nighttime antics that sometimes come about!
I love that moment though... when I hear silence. Sweet silence. And I go to tuck them in and turn off their lights (monsters you know) and see this.....
I love sleeping kids. Almost makes me forget the craziness that was today. Or that Kadence, upon me telling her to GET INTO BED for like the hundredth time tonight, crossed her arms to me and said HMPF (which of course got me completely cracking up - 3 yr olds seriously have crazy attitudes!).
