The very best Christmas present | Calgary newborn photographer

Someone had the best present present EVER for Christmas!!! And they both knew what they were getting...... about 9 months ahead of time ;)

This little guy was just the cutest little bundle with AMAZING eyes! He was born just over a week early and was such a good baby his momma and I were sure we were going to get some awesome pics!!!

As we was born at Christmas we got some very unique and special pictures of this little guy. BUT.... he had other ideas! He decided on his 9th day to be awake... for 4 hours!!! We tried and tried but there were no sleepy pics for this little one. He even blinked his eyes at separate times so I couldn't even catch him looking asleep! Of course once I was unpacking and he was all wrapped up snuggling mom on the couch it was lights out for the little guy.....

I am so excited to spend a little more time with him, and am also excited to get through the pics we did take. His eyes are just beautiful.

I have been busy busy busy.... almost caught up on sessions and my laundry is caught up. Never thought I would see this day!!!
When I posted the most recent sneaks I didn't get time to go back and put up all my faves from the sessions. And as I can't resist newborn squishy baby love I thought I should take a moment an put up some of my ultimate faves from the last 3 sessions.

Oh my. She was just the SWEETEST little thing!!! The sweetest!!! I seriously luck out with beautiful clients and gorgeous babies!!!

Little Miss E may have drank up a storm.... but she was oh so ready to start her modeling debut.

Normally my sneaks have mostly all baby, but this family is so gorgeous and I KNEW the black and whites would just be breathtaking so I wanted to put some up! They must have thought they entered the crazy photog's house today.... The sun was ALL OVER THE PLACE... shining brightly, hiding behind clouds... I was moving the baby, having them hold up my reflector, moving from living room to kitchen... shooting under a table - it was CHAOS!!! But all this for some gorgeous pics with all natural light. Which I LOVE for the fresh little ones :)

Seriously gorgeous.... I am just fighting the baby fever right now!!!

the newborn squishiness continues.....

Oh this little man was SO cute!!! And he was such a little trouper! We tried some more difficult poses for him which in the end did not work out but he was so awesome he just hung out and let us try them. I was so disappointed I could not get the shots mom wanted - but we really gave it a good effort. And then.... we brought out some of my new props and this guy was so into them! He was posing and happy and we got some really great shots to make up for the missed poses!

He was really too cute... I wanted to take him home. For some reason his parents didn't go for it.......

not even a week old

Hello newborn sweetness!!! This little girl has hands down the most amazing hair. On top of the gorgeous hair she has the sweetest disposition. She was just a little joy to be around..... she must get it from her parents! They are amazing and little miss A slept through almost my entire time there! She is absolutely precious, thanks so much for a fantastic morning!

They are also from Manitoba..... the awesomeness factor was EVERYWHERE today :)

Seriously... just look at this gorgeous hair! I totally get why mom is hoping it doesn't fall out!!!! stay in pretty hair!

You have to grab the sweetness when you can... even when the baby may be tiring of her photo op! What an amazing couple. You could just feel the zen in the house. Really... I wanted to move in ;)

I had posted a few sneaks of this session a while ago and now it is DONE :) This little girl is just too pretty and her mom was so into getting some uber cute shots - it was really a pleasure hanging out and taking some gorgeous pics! Enjoy!!!

sneak peek of a beautiful newborn

This sneak peek isn't so sneaky anymore! It has been a long wait for a sneak for the parents of this gorgeous baby girl!!!! I had so much fun photographing this little beauty. She was a fighter, but in the end her mom and I won the battle and she finally fell into a sleep for some adorable pictures!!!

There is no better sneaky sneaks than pictures with a pretty hat that was a gift for miss L. It fit her perfectly and she looks so sweet in it!

LOVE LOVE this picture!! I can NOT wait until mom sees this one :)
